Missouri polling for
clearer campaign decisions.

Sapphire Strategies is a Missouri polling firm and political consulting team. We help Democratic campaigns and organizations understand ballot responses, issue priorities, and reactions to campaign messages through custom voter surveys and practical analysis.

Political polling and public opinion research

Campaign polling built around your questions.

We design Missouri campaign polling around the race or issue, the audience you need to hear from, and the decision ahead. The questionnaire, text-to-web recruitment plan, timeline, and budget are scoped together before fieldwork begins.

The race

Ballot and candidate research

Examine initial ballot responses, candidate familiarity, and favorability. Keep already-voted respondents and post-information responses distinct so the findings are easier to interpret.

The issues

Issue priorities and opinions

Explore the concerns respondents bring to the race and their views on policy questions. Review demographic or geographic differences where the available responses support them.

The message

Message and candidate-information testing

See how respondents react to candidate descriptions and campaign messages. Compare initial and post-information answers while keeping sequence effects and the study design in view.

From question to findings

A research partner through the whole project.

Sapphire manages the work, with Sapphire Polls as the platform behind the survey.

01 · Design

Define the question.

Agree on the decision, audience, recruitment plan, and budget. Review the wording, question order, eligibility rules, and mobile questionnaire before fieldwork begins.

02 · Field

Run the survey.

Manage text-to-web invitations and monitor participation through Sapphire Polls. Track starts, partial responses, and completed questionnaires separately, then review eligibility and quality.

03 · Interpret

Make the findings useful.

Deliver toplines, supported cross-tabs, the questionnaire, and a methods summary. Walk through the findings, their limitations, and the questions your team should consider next.

Clear methods. Useful context.

Know what the findings can support.

Good research makes its limits visible. Every report explains who was invited, who responded, when the survey ran, and how the answers were analyzed.

The audience matters.

Text-to-web surveys rely on reachable contacts choosing to participate. Contact coverage and voluntary participation can affect the results; responses do not automatically represent every voter in a district.

The analysis needs context.

We state the response counts, exclusions, and weighting status. Any weighting requires a documented basis; it does not by itself remove bias. We do not attach a conventional margin of sampling error to voluntary-response findings.

Message reactions need careful interpretation.

A ballot asked after candidate information is a separate measure from the initial ballot. Movement after that material is descriptive; it does not, by itself, establish that a message caused the change or predict an election outcome.

A scope built around your campaign

Bring us the question.
We'll build the research plan.

Tell us the race or geography, what you need to learn, your decision deadline, and the budget you have in mind. We will recommend a scope and provide a custom quote before fieldwork begins. Timing and response goals depend on the audience and recruitment plan.
