Lizz Callahan officially announced her candidacy as State Representative in Missouri House District 103, which mainly covers the north O’Fallon area. Callahan has built her experience through being a teacher, a project manager, a health literacy specialist, a dedicated community volunteer, and a mom. Those experiences drive her campaign goals. She runs on advocacy for voters’ and workers’ rights, better funding for childcare and education, keeping our hospitals open, and safer schools for all children.

Callahan is running for State Representative to ensure that her community has better access to health care and a better education for children. She will fight to promote these important issues that impact everyone in her community. She promotes making a positive difference in your community no matter where you are.

Missouri deserves a better future – one that serves the needs of everyday people. Just because our state government has been a dysfunctional mess this year doesn’t mean that’s all government has to offer. Government as I see it is a community made large – it’s the belief that when we work together and help each other, we’re all better off for it. Government done right is just the organizing force for that community work. I’d like to see our government done right,” said Callahan.
